This applies to any angel card or oracle deck. By understanding the metaphorical meaning to each card, a message builds up. And the more you practice, the better you’ll become. The origins of the Tarot are very much debated. Some claim The Major Arcana are derived from an Ancient Egyptian text written by Hermes Trismegistus. Others claim there origins lie in Ancient China, while others claim a link with the Hebrew Kabbalistic Law. Traditionally Tarot Cards are made up of 22 cards of The Major Arcana and, 56 cards of The Minor Arcana. Many modern decks follow themes and therefore may differ slightly from the more traditional tarot decks.

Oracle Cards on the other hand simply follow a theme and as you can see from our current stock, these themes can vary from Angel Cards to Oracle Decks featuring mystical creatures like Unicorns, Mermaids and Fairies. Many decks feature a beautiful illustration as well as a short message, as featured in many of the popular Doreen Virtue cards. Basically Oracle and Angel Cards are a simplified form of the Tarot and, as a result are easier to read. In fact many people start there fortune telling journey with the Oracle first, before moving onto the Tarot.
