What Are Tingsha
Tingsha are small Tibetan cymbals or chimes that are used by Tibetan Buddhist in either their rituals and ceremonies or as an aid to meditation. They are held together by a leather cord and when they are struck together they create a pure resonating tone that sounds like a sweet sounding ting, hence there name. They’re generally played before a meditation as a means to summon, focus and clear the mind and after a meditation to bring the mind back to reality and everyday life. Because of the pure sweet sound they make Ting sha are used nowadays in an increasing variety of ways, they’re used by practitioners of feng shui as a means for cleansing and clearing negative energies from rooms and for the very same reason by Reiki healers, crystal healers and many other healers.
How To Use Tingsha

Tingsa are easy to play,simply hold the leather thong in both hands and allow the rim of one cymbal to gently strike the rim of the other. This action will allow the cymbals to chime with there beautiful resonating clear pure sound. This is then allowed to sound until the tone has faded before the cymbals are struck again.
